Dr. Alexios Karabelas, Gynaecologist Obstetrician, who maintains his practice in Glyfada, is a graduate of the Medical School of the University of Parma 2008, Italy and Doctor of Medicine of the National Kapodistrian University of Athens since 2017.

In 2007 he started his involvement with special interest in the specialty of Obstetric Gynaecology already in his senior year where he also conducted an experimental thesis on angiogenic factors. After his return to Greece he started in 2010 his circular specialization in Obstetrical Gynecological Surgery where he was selected and evaluated and worked in important clinics that further shaped his medical and special training. He specialized in Gynecological Surgery, Gynecological Oncology and Endoscopic Surgery as well as modern Obstetrical Science where he received the honorary distinction of Doctor and a scholarship from the great Alexander Onassis Foundation as a reward for his research activity. He has also specialised and has many years of experience and expertise , in the fields of Obstetrical and Gynaecological Ultrasound, Vaginal & Cervical Pathology – Colposcopy, Gynaecological Laparoscopic Surgery – Laparoscopy – Hysteroscopy, Infertility Testing – Assisted Reproduction (IVF). Today, he collaborates with the most modern private General Gynaecology & Obstetrics Clinics in Athens.
