A FEW WORDS ABOUT THE MUSIC SCHOOL

The Music School was founded in 1985 by Emmanuel & Aphrodite Mitsakou.

Emmanuel Mitsakos worked at the National Opera from 1965 to 1990. Where he worked most of the years as Stage Director. Aphrodite Mitsakou worked as a pianist at the National Opera House for a decade. Later as a piano teacher at the branch of the National Conservatory of Nea Smyrni. In 1981 she undertook to establish a branch of the National Conservatory in the municipality of Elliniko.

In 1985 Emmanuel & Aphrodite Mitsakou decided to found the Conservatory in Glyfada to meet the need of the area for music education , which today is the oldest Conservatory in the area of Glyfada.

Continuers of the work of Emmanuel and Afroditi Mitsakos are their children Yannis – Anna Maria and Kyriaki Mitsakos.

PHILOSOPHY
Among the beauties of life, one of the most important is music.
For a solid foundation in the knowledge and psychosynthesis of the child a proper musical training is a prerequisite. In the center of our attention is the child and music.

GOAL
It is to provide high quality music education for children and adults. To make the student love and understand the greatness of music , which is not only a lesson but an aesthetic pleasure and creation.
