My name is Aristidis Ntousias and I am an Orthopaedic Surgeon. I was born in Athens on 24 March 1971 and I spent the first years of my life in Pagrati. Since 1989 I am a permanent resident of Glyfada where I have lived with my family until today.

I am a graduate of “Lykeion Athena”, Georgios Ziridis, in Maroussi. In 1990 I was admitted through Panhellenic Examinations to the Medical School of the Democritus University of Alexandroupolis. I graduated from the Medical School in March 1997. Subsequently, I fulfilled my military service in the Air Force, serving for six months in the medical unit of the Lemnos airport. Later I was seconded to the 251 General Air Force Hospital in Katehaki, 2nd Orthopaedic Clinic, where I remained for one year until the end of my service in 1999. After my three-month service at the General Hospital of Corinth, I fulfilled the Rural Service (Rural) at the Health Center of Kiato.

Subsequently, I attended the one-year surgical commitment part at the Vascular Surgery Clinic of the General Hospital “Elpis”.

In 2002, I was appointed to the 4th Orthopaedic Clinic of the Asclepion Hospital of Voula to obtain the Orthopaedic specialty. During my tenure at the Asclepion of Voula I was awarded a three-year Doctorate of the Department of Medicine of the Democritus University of Thrace with the subject: “The study of the transdermal action of the active elements of thermal waters in orthopedic diseases and syndromes”, with the grade “Excellent”.

I specialized in Thoracic Surgery (Thoracic Surgery Clinic of the General Hospital of Thoracic Diseases “Sotiria”) as well as in Plastic Reconstructive Surgery (Plastic Reconstructive Surgery Clinic of the Oncology Hospital I.K.A. “G Gennimatas). My additional specializations are pediatric orthopaedics (Orthopaedic Clinic of the Children’s Hospital “Aghia Sophia”), sports injuries and osteoporosis. I am an attending at the orthopaedic clinic of the Metropolitan Hospital in the department of robotic orthopaedics.

At the same time I run a practice in Glyfada at 72 Kyprou Street. As a scientist, the continuous updating of new techniques is one of my primary goals. During all these years I have been taking part thoroughly in lectures as well as participating as a speaker in many Greek and international conferences. My articles are contained in newspapers and industry magazines (sports etc.). The correct information and continuous care of my fellow human beings in the field of Orthopaedic Surgery is also one of my primary goals.
