HOMIESCHOOL is located in a quiet and green neighborhood of Glyfada. It is located in a one-level house, without stairs, completely renovated and adapted to the needs of children. The design and curation of the space was done by Ms. Semiramis Moshovaki, a specialist in bioclimatic architecture. The building is surrounded by a lush green garden designed for safe, free play and for the application of forest pedagogy in its specially curated part. The colours used are fully in harmony with the natural environment.

Our educational program, aims at the multifaceted development of the children but also at meeting their needs for socialization, action and knowledge. The development of empathy is a priority, as it is the process by which the child learns to recognize his/her own feelings and the feelings of others.

‘The vision of HOMIE SCHOOL is to be a second home and an educational family for preschool and kindergarten children. A home filled with love, empathy, and learning. Our educational approach is playful and experiential teaching. By combining elements of pedagogical methods of Maria Montessori and Loris Malaguzzi, initiator of the Regio Emilia pedagogical method, adapted to the modern environment, we have created a pedagogical program based on the child-centered learning model. The Project Method and the Forest Pedagogy are two important pedagogical tools of HOMIESCHOOL.
