My Market has welcomed the Veropoulos stores to its family and the great work of consolidation is proceeding at a rapid pace.

METRO S.A. was founded in 1976 and is a purely Greek company. It has two store chains, the METRO Cash & Carry wholesale stores and the My market retail stores. The My market store network was relaunched in 2004, as a renaming of the METRO retail stores.
By the end of 2015, it had 66 stores, mainly located in the wider region of Attica and Southern Greece. In February 2016, the company acquired the Greek chain Veropoulos, thus expanding its network across the country and acquiring 224 outlets nationwide. According to the company’s plan, by the end of 2019, all Veropoulos stores will have been rebranded as My market. During the current period of time, the process of changing and renaming the stores is in full swing and already many stores in the network have been inaugurated, offering their customers the “fantastic shopping experience” My market!
